「IBの学習者像」は、上の「IBの使命」を具体化したもので、「国際的な視野を持つとはどういうことか」という問いに対する答えを、人物像という形で表現したものです。IB認定校では、それぞれの学校が独自にこのIBの学習者像を解釈したポスターを作成し、校内に掲示しています。

国際バカロレア機構(International Baccalaureate Organization)とは？
国際バカロレア機構(IBO)は、優れた国際教育のプログラムを提供し、世界共通の大学入学資格を授与することを目的として、世界のインターナショナルスクールの教員と保護者によって1968 年に設立された非営利教育団体です。（本部はスイスのジュネーブにあります。） 現在では、大学入学資格を授与するのみならず、卓越した国際教育のプログラムを提供することで、国際的な若者の育成に貢献しています。IBOの認定を受けたIB認定校（IBワールドスクール）は、以下の「IBの使命」に基づいた教育活動を全世界で行っています。

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a nonprofit educatonal organization founded in 1968 by teachers and parents of international schools around the world with the aim of providing outstanding glaobal education programs and awarding universal university admission qualifications. (Headquarters is lacated in Geneva, Switzerland.) Today, the IBO is contributing to developing young people internationally by providing outstanding international education programs, as well as awarding university entrance qualifications. The schools authorized by IBO, IB World Schools, carry out educational practice around the world based on the following"IB mission".

国際バカロレア（IB）は、多様な文化の理解と尊重の精神を通じて、より良い、より平和な世界を築くことに貢献する、探求心、知識、思いやりに富んだ若者の育成を目的としています。
この目的のため、IB は、学校や政府、国際機関と協力しながら、チャレンジに満ちた国際教育プログラムと厳格な評価の仕組みの開発に取り組んでいます。
IB のプログラムは、世界各地で学ぶ児童生徒に、人がもつ違いを違いとして理解し、自分と異なる考えの人々にもそれぞれの正しさがあり得ると認めることのできる人として、積極的に、そして共感する心をもって生涯にわたって学び続けるよう働きかけています。
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
IBの学習者像（The IB Learner Profile）
The"IB learner profile"embodies the above"IB mission"and concretely expresses the answer to the question of "What does it mean to be internationally minded people?"in the form of a profile of 10 attributes. At IB World Schools, each school creates its own posters that interprets these 10 attributes and posts them on campus.
