"Welcome Ceremony" was held at Assumption Samutprakarn School (ACSP)
タイの姉妹校・Assumption Samutprakarn School(ACSP)で「ウェルカム・セレモニー」が開催され、ACSPの生徒達と先生方に朝日塾生が歓待されました。
副校長の後に杉原、杉原の後に黒瀬さん(高等部2年次DP生)が、生徒達の前で英語でスピーチをさせて頂きました。
今回の聴衆は、2,500人の小学生たち。
しっかり聴いて、目をキラキラさせながら聞いてくれました。
アドリブで「日本のあいさつを教えてほしい」という話になり、「こんにちは」「ありがとう」をみんなで言ってみました。
お互いの文化や生活様式、価値観の違いに気づきながら互いを知り、認め合うACSPでの短期留学プログラム「Thai Study Cultural Tour 2025」。
ホームステイ先に宿泊しながら、学校での授業やアクティビティにバディーで取り組む国際交流が、本格的に始まりました。
In the early morning "Welcome Ceremony" was held at Assumption Samutprakarn School (ACSP), our sister school in Thailand, where Asahijuku students were warmly welcomed by ACSP students and teachers.
After the vice principal, Sugihara, and following Sugihara, Ms.Kurose (a 2nd-year DP student from high school division) gave speeches in English in front of many students.
The audience were 2,500 elementary school students!!
They listened at us with their eyes sparkling.
Suddenly they asked me to teach Japanese greetings, so I taught two greetings.
After that everyone said together, "Konnichiwa" and "Arigatou."
The short-term study abroad program at ACSP, "Thai Study Cultural Tour 2025," promotes understanding and acknowledgment of each other while noticing the differences in cultures, lifestyles, and values.
The international exchange began in earnest with students staying at homestays while engaging in classes and activities at school with their buddies.
